Psalm 45:3-5New American Standard Bible (NASB)Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Mighty One, In Your splendor and Your majesty! And in Your majesty ride on victoriously, For the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; Let Your right hand teach You awesome things. Your arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under You; Your arrows are in the heart of the King’s enemies.

This is one of the passages that the Lord laid on my heart this morning. What a great prayer to pray in these times in America. God, get your sword on! Stand up for truth and righteousness. I love the word picture the Psalmist gives that God's arrows are able to hit the heart of the King's enemies. We already know that the King's enemies are not flesh and blood, but found in the spirit realm. How great that God's arrows can still hit an invisible heart. Go God!

Deuteronomy 2:7 For the Lord your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness.  These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.

It's one thing to make a promise and another to keep it. I've tested this one out on many occasions. When my husband, a pastor, was disabled and unable to work I wondered how the Lord would meet the needs of our family. That was 8 years ago and we've never had a late bill yet.
During that time we were transitioning from CA to TX and I was looking for a ministry/job, the Lord kept food on the table, clothes on our back and gas in our cars.

When I woke up this morning, I thought, this is worth shouting out about.  Someone out there needs to hear this today. Lots of people are in situations where they are having to trust God for their daily bread.  I'm here to be your cheerleader..."Trust God!"  He's never let me down and I've been testing Him for 58 years now.
